DATE CHANGE: June 14, Monday, 10:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Moths! eewww! those little brown jobbers that eat clothes. Well, there are some big beautiful moths that don't get a lot of attention because they only come out at night. Early summer is the time to attract these large showy moths: luna, cecropia, polyphemus, and promethea moths. Join us as we use an ultraviolet light to attract these nocturnal beauties and learn about their biology and ecology. Partial funding for this class provided through a grant from Stewart’s Shops Holiday Match Program.
Location: Meeting House and Facebook Live
Instructor: George Steele, nature educator
Members: $5/person, $15/family; non-members: $15/person, $25/family. Registrants will also receive a link to a video of the class they can watch as often as desired.
