Become a Member of Landis Arboretum

Your membership dollars are critical to our economic viability and the sustainability of our collections, grounds, and educational programs.  Renew your membership. Consider renewing at a higher level.  Encourage your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to as well.  Give the gift of membership to the beautiful Landis Arboretum!

The Landis Arboretum membership is annual; we schedule your membership expiration to ensure that you have access to the member discount at both a fall and a spring plant sale.  Download a printable version of our Membership Form which you can fill out and mail back per the instructions on the document, or scroll to the bottom of the page where you can access the online membership option, or for information on joining by phone using your VISA or MasterCard.  Please note that we cannot currently use PayPal to provide the 10% discount for senior citizens, full-time educators, student, or active or retired military personnel, nor to accept the graduated membership donations listed below.  Please download the membership form, complete, and mail, or call the Arboretum at 518-875-6935 to use your credit card if you wish to take access of the discount or join at a graduated rate.

Member Benefits

All members are eligible for a 10% discount at two consecutive Landis Plant Sales, reciprocal admissions to many gardens and arboreta across the USA, and are invited to our Plant Sales Pick of the Pots (POPS) Preview Parties. In addition, Business members receive a business card sized advertisement in each Landis Newsletter for the year.

More Information on Reciprocal Admissions

The benefit of reciprocal admission to other gardens nationwide is granted to members of arboreta that are members of the American Horticultural Society.  Over 300 public gardens and arboreta are members; each provides discounted and/or completely free admission and other benefits to those who belong to a member garden or arboretum.  Your membership card (and a link to the AHS website where gardens are listed by region) can save you much more than the cost of your membership if you are much of a traveler.

Click the picture below for more information on even more member benefits!  Thanks to the generosity of Native Trail creator and curator Ed Miller, members can download PDFs of Ed's books!
