August 7, Saturday, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
We'll learn to identify some common summer wildflowers and discuss their use in medicine and magic throughout history. We'll collect some non-native flowers and make ourselves some love potions and good luck charms. We'll finish off with some wildflower ice tea that is cooling and nutritious, too. Partial funding for this class provided through a grant from Stewart’s Shops Holiday Match Program.
Instructor: Author and nature educator Anita Sanchez
Location: Library (adjacent to the Greenhouse)
Members: $5/person, $15/family; non-members: $15/person, $25/family
