Bird Feeder Making Workshop
Help make a better world for the birds that are searching for food in your back yard. Children will make three kinds of bird feeders: a traditional pinecone feeder, an egg carton feeder, and a repurposed Gatorade bottle feeder. Instruction on where to place feeders and what kind of birds might visit will be provided. Partial funding for this class provided through a grant from Stewart’s Shops Holiday Match Program.
Location: The Meditation Garden Pavilion (behind the Greenhouse)
Instructor: George Steele, nature educator
Members: $5/person, $15/family; non-members: $15/person, $25/family.
