Leaf Peeping at Landis - what a treasure~
Many Landis aficionados find fall their favorite time to visit. The views down into the valley, in the meadows, and along the trails, are awe-inspiring. We hope you enjoy these photos snapped by Landis Historian and Board of Trustees member Lee Lattimer. Among the photos you will find one of the Great Oak - sadly in her death throes. The iconic oak will remain in place, testament to the laws of succession in the natural world. Her heir apparent, Big Red, stands nearby but out of the photo frame.
