Class is repeated on:
May 20, Saturday, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
September 9, Sunday, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

The Arboretum now owns a few hives of honeybees! If you are interested in learning about the basics of their life cycle and their critical importance in our ecosystem, come and join us. Master Beekeeper Anne Frey will give a short presentation, then lead the group to inspect the hives, with plenty of opportunities for Q&A. Extra veils will be available.  Wear long pants and long sleeves. No age restrictions – children are welcome. Class limited to 8 participants.

Our Signature Spring Plant, Book, and Bake Sales also are on these Saturdays from 10 AM to 4PM. Admission to the sale is free, so be sure to look around while you're here.  Click here for more information on our plant sales.

Location: Library (adjacent to the Greenhouse)
Instructor(s): Anne Frey, Master Beekeeper and past-president of the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association.
$5/person, $15/family; non-members: $15/person, $25/family
